Disability awareness breaks down stereotypes, which are so prevalent in our culture, and
provides an opportunity for everyone to get involved in creating a positive and inclusive society.
We share a duty to enable people with disabilities everywhere to experience equal
opportunities.
We organize and participate in several events, including African Child Day, Menstrual Health
Day, International Women’s Day, and International Day for People with Disabilities, to raise
awareness about the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and equality. We strongly believe
that everyone plays a role in advocating for the rights of all.
The intended impact of this activity is for community members to gain a clear understanding of
disability issues and create a friendly and inclusive environment for all. We also see this as an

opportunity for everyone to become disability ambassadors in the community who can report
any abuse or discrimination, especially against people with disabilities.
